The tape player works as well when hitting play and sounds very classic. I tested to the best of my ability, The radio tunes in channels, and it sounds very nice making sure antenna is up find stations. Made in Japan 1981 as part of the GE product line, this boombox is a timeless piece consumer electronics history. It is super clean for being 44 years old.

I took as many pictures possible to show the condition. It does not come with the AC plug for wall. Feel free to reach out with any questions prior purchasing. The boombox also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack for connectivity, making it versatile and retro addition to any music lovers collection.

When hitting the FF and RW buttons, it moves very slowly, probably from not being played in years. I have had so many compliments having it displayed. With a stylish design in silver, black, and burnt orange, this portable device features AM/FM radio with analog tuning, cassette player recorder automatic stop, large front speaker for enhanced audio. L was testing with 5 batteries.
