Once you get the cassette in sometime difficult sometimes it lines right up I see some movement at bottom of but nothing turns or plays. I'm sure it needs a good cleaning on the inside with electronic spray. The volume slide is a little touchy. The lights all seem to work though.

It has a broken tab on the upper right side of inner door. It was fairly dirty when I purchased it but removed all of the brackets that hold speakers on and separated components did a deep clean outside. There are two parts to the cassette door. An inner and outer.

The amplifier, tuner and all the rest of buttons works. SONY FH-7 MK II Tape Cassette Recorder Radio Vintage Boombox Cosmetically looks great. Picture included That should't be too hard to fix if your handy at that sort of thing. Perhaps its a band/belt inside or something.

When you put a cassette in its sometimes hard to line up with the metal studs that hold place door closed. Lightly nudge it forward or back and both speakers play but when you let go sometimes the left speaker quits playing. The cassette needs some work. When you press the eject button it opens but otter part of door falls off.
