So when you try and mount a tape it will not let drop down, I am sure is simple fix but have no idea. The unit powers on. I did push the head mechanism back and mounted a tape but not want to try run since screw anything up know it needs service. I am not an engineer and my verbiage may be as correct it should but will try describe in best words.

I can not think of any better packaging since this is meant to move it in. When I tried to install the tape a little green light came on inside two hubs noting there was in drive, which is suppose happen.

First the skb road case will come with offer. The cassette drive does not seem to latch closed, meaning when I turn it upside down pack slide open, so close on button command but do think is latching.

The cassette drive opens and closes. This was my moms unit she use to play on stage with cassette tapes for a while. I will put two commercial zip ties around the skb case and ship unit as you see it in rack mount road. After she passed it just sat in the skb case closet for past 15 years.

There for I am unable to test play-ability, nor can fast forward or rewind. The unit seems to switch between all modes when pressing corresponding button. This head mechanism appears to be engaged or out. I am selling it as is since know needs service.
