In all, this unit sounds fantastic with Sony's super 6x9 speakers which also include tweeters. The only little drawback, which I could not fix and find a replacement for, is right channel VI meter, freely moving. Other than that, this unit is at its utmost performance overall. I ship in the lower 48 us.

I bought this not too long ago on as-is with many broken parts. When Sony jumped on the boombox craze back in late 70s and early 80s, some of boomboxes they produced were quality style.

States only. I replaced both the FM rod antennas, cassette has new drive belts and pinch roller, display lamp in dial, all switches controls have been cleaned lubricated, battery connections are free from corrosion. This unit is capable of operating at either 110 or 220 volts and it comes with a volt ac line cord adapter. You dont see many boomboxes with cloth grills and plastic wood grain side panels.

I have seen these boomboxes in worse shape than selling for over it tends to stick, which is not a big deal. Also, the 110 volt ac cord not shown. I am selling this for 250 starting bid. That's because I have original Sony parts, and it breaks my heart to see these beautiful stereo boomboxes be neglected.
