Details:

The radio is only static - no stations. Volume up and down works.

If you turn the volume up, it gets drowned out. I was unable to test the record feature. The tuning knob works. Cassette tape drawer opens nicely.

Rewind and fast-forward work. The microphone works well. The left-right balance lever works. Its an old player and there seems to be some sticking with the cassette moving parts.

The battery compartment is clean. The cassette player works. Vintage my first Sony boombox radio cassette player model CFS-2020 with microphone.

I tested the boombox and found following: cosmetically in good condition with a few nicks, marks scratches. There is a kink in the antenna.

There is a rhythmic, mechanical sound being made when tape playing.
