Its portable using 8 c batteries or plug it into a wall outlet for extended run times. The cassette player doesn't play tapes so I suspect it has a broken belt, but was able to use tape aux. Input adapter to play my mp3 player through it so the tape pickup head does work. This is a nice old school boom box that would be perfect for job site radio you don't have to worry about getting lost, broken or stolen because its rugged and inexpensive.
Up for sale is an Aiwa CSD-TD66 compact disc stereo am fm radio boom box. I tested the cd player and fm radio both work fine sound great with rich bass strong volume for noisy areas or parties. It also has a sleep timer, cd repeat function, turbo bass boost, q-sound stereo spatial enhancement and 3 mode equalizer. It would also be great for exercise yoga dance classes or even a massage therapist to play relaxing music their clients.
Of course it would also be perfect for camping, picnics, parties or beach trips. It has a headphone jack so you can listen privately, or send the output to another amplifier speaker system.
