Details:

Unit can get very loud. I didn't test the AM. Tested using power cable although the original is missing and my testing NOT included.

I have no reason to feel they would not be in working condition. Unit does show age but there are no signs of abuse or impact to the case. Both the left and right speakers are working sliding switches seem to control them properly. Antenna is original and intact but there some damage slight curve - see photos.

Unit can take batteries as well. Since play doesn't work I can't test. Details: First, I don't read Japanese so am unable to properly test the functionality of all different buttons and switches. Tape deck door does open although needs help to fully open, seems catch and likely lubricated.

Tape deck 2 - play function does not work likely needs new belts. Fast forward and reverse do work. I did not test the functionality of specific ports, etc.

I'm sure the deck needs cleaned at a minimum - replacement belts would be recommended. Buttons, switches, information label, etc are all in Japanese. What I have been able to test: Tuner is working, specifically was dial in FM stations and listen stereo.

Door doesn't open without help. Vintage, HEAVY, Collectible unit. Shipped via UPS or FedEx Tuner is working, specifically I was able to dial in FM stations and listen stereo.

Tape deck 1 does work however the sound is not as good FM stereo.
