When power cord is plugged in it works as should. Could use a good cleaning. Please see photos for condition and details. B side is for recording so that may be possibly why.
Cd player plays CDs, cassette cassettes on play back A, B but sounds lower when volume is played. This item is sold as. Headphone jack is also untested. Lastly the reason for posting as parts or repair is I don't have knowledge confidence to say this item fully tested, am not familiar with boomboxes older stereos.
Both speakers sound like they work well. Antenna expands and contracts as it should but does have one small bend at the beginning of antenna. All buttons on Cassette plays A B to my knowledge worked when testing. The reason for selling parts of repairs is due to the battery compartment cover not being on boombox, also I have tested slot see if it will play with batteries only.
Cd player skipped songs when skip button was pressed.
