I included a video to show the functionality of stereo best my ability. I have not tried to clean the exterior at all and would up nicely if done believe. Heres a VERY rare Japanese domestic Diatone JR-911 Boombox.

I think its as simple replacing a belt it appears to be slipping and then grabbing again. The cassette player sometimes works exactly as it should and then gets stuck. Some of the switches need to be cleaned and cassette belts replaced.

This is a un restored example and will need to be inspected / serviced most likely get everything working perfectly.

The sound quality is excellent and impressive for such a thin boombox. The radio picks of stations well with good clarity.
