Sounds fine, not the loudest in world but certainly adequate. With the tape in, you press down halfway to fast forward it locks or push all way eject and turn off. New belt was installed friend used to fix VCR's etc, batteries included. Working but sold as is.

It has dual headphone jacks and you can press the talk button which turns on mic right speaker in to a little intercom so each other while its still playing. And it works. Simply push a tape in not included and it starts playing, with your choice of speaker or headphones. Scratches and marks as shown.
