Sounds good too if your tape is in shape. Classic Sanyo boombox that's in rough shape but for the most part it works. Like mentioned its well used. Look over the pictures and make your assessment.
The tape deck plays, ff and RR's. Tuner pulls in stations fairly decent but needs the stereo mono button or selector switch turned several times to come. Also needs to be a strong signal. I've cleaned the controls on inside so no noisy switches.
Battery area is clean. Gets fairly loud and sounds clear on tape or FM. Cool small unit that looks like the big boys. Shortwave seems to pull stations but not sure how that works.
The tape cover is missing. Face has scratches and lots of worn chrome paint. Some rust on the speaker grills.
One antenna is missing the tip. It has a hum just being on but little music covers that.
