Don't go crazy buying feeling sorry for her. Everything works as it should.
The only issue that I found with this unit is a piece of plastic near right side handle missing. I have posted a picture of this. She is still very healthy but family out of state and unable to care for her.
The list goes on. Not noticeable from 2ft away and does take function ability of the radio itself.
Gets you noticed.
I did not try the record part of cassette deck but play cassettes in both decks and they fine. If I didn't already have a ton of radios would keep it for myself.
I would guess the record feature works great as well just didn't have a blank to check it.
