The battery compartment is spotless and i'll include batteries that came with it when I bought. The speakers do not crackle and it picks up am fm sw stations perfectly. This unit is being sold as and weighs over 8 lbs. Very well built and better yet works pretty.
Antenna is present and extends fully. Both forward rewind work as well however, somewhat slow. This one is truly rare and likely only available overseas having been brought back by a veteran.
Please view each picture carefully to determine if this is right for you. I have a feeling it needs deep cleaning.
The cassette player wants to work it turns when on play but sound is muffled however, speed seems fine. The power switch is intermittent but with a couple tries it will stay on.
