I also have no control of the disrespectful delivery people that throw packages. The photo of cassette door looks like its cracked but it is not,its some kind streak in plastic. Would you rather have a boombox on your end in one piece and spend little more or less open broken that cant get parts for to repair case.

You get new bubble and boxes. Yes its a shame but USPS cares about nothing their large paycheck. It takes 10-d cell not included.

I was packing long before born so know what I'm doing. The worst things with this box are cassette belt and scratchy volume. This boombox is big and heavy may just take the entire 70.

As you get closer west its cheaper.

Its large and heavy so it needs packed properly unless you want the postal system to break it,i do not.

Throw it in a box and hope for the best. My p0acking will withstand a lot of abuse. You are buying this box as described and is. I have been packing and shipping for many years rates keep going up no control of that.

In my opinion you put a belt on the cassette and clean control will have beautiful boombox. All the switches seem to do what they should be doing,the cassette does not play,it more than likely needs a new belt and I am in no way skilled change. This is a great old box but not perfect.

Normal for dirty control. Postal rates are crazy and getting worse.

This is why we must spend the money for bullet proof packing. You dont get dumpster materials from me.

This vintage boombox is in very good condition,the radio functions work well and it sounds outstanding,the volume control will need to be cleaned,scratchy causing intermittent speaker out the bottom line. Cosmetically its in great shape and you can decided that by the pictures. The battery compartment is clean with minor rust on springs only.

It is what and old electronics anything can happen at any time. I am not an electronics repairmen by any means. It works fine with batteries also. My time is money and just the it takes to pack an item like this costs.
