Up for your consideration is a vintage Fisher PH-D650 boom box. This will run operate on 120v or batteries so you can take it with. I wiped it down and tested here is what found: everything works except the cd player.

It does spin the disc but cant read. What a great find. Speakers detach so you can also set it up as a home stereo. The remote is not included but if you want one I saw for sale on under 7 shipping.

This was found at an estate sale and pretty dusty when I bought it. It features am FM stereo, detachable speakers, cassette player recorder, 6 disc cd changer, bass boost, electronic equalizer and remote capability. I would assume that based on the condition found it in laser probably needs to be cleaned properly read discs.
