You're buying it as is. I did play a cassette in it but not try the recording feature. For sale: 80s vintage-sharp QT50 am fm radio, cassette player recorder, stereo boombox. Color: since it has faded with age, its hard to tell the original color, however inside of cassette player looks purple me.
And still has the carrying strap. You be the judge. Everything seems to work with both ac and batteries not included, however, it gets a little static-y when adjusting the volume knob but once its set, has good sound.
The antenna is complete and extends fine. Aside from being faded and minor wear, its in good, usable condition considering age.
