Details:

Not a collector quality unit, but very clean. Service: near complete tear down of the tape transport. And more yet.

New belts were installed. They just don't quite fit right. The tape counter had a broken reset button, so I got inventive. USPS priority.

Counter reset works great. All fully serviced and shipped ready to use. Cosmetics: definitely used, 50 years old, but cared for. Full record play test.

Adjust pr tension and auto shut off sensitivity. Multi-ac voltage selector worldwide operation. Very nice vintage piece.

Unit is 17 wide, 12 tall handle down and 5 deep. Gear system disassembled, and all the spindles cleaned oiled. Cleaned all the controls and switches. Made of steel inside.

Extra long antenna pulls in FM great. Battery compartment is clean. Uses along speakers. The head is in excellent condition.

Runs on ac, external 9v dc adapter or 6 d-cell internal batteries. So you're good there. Includes original power cord. Still in excellent shape.

So consider that your heads-up on the batteries. This vintage rubber never seems to wear out, but the idlers and pinch roller were cleaned treated anyway. Presents well: see the pics, so I will just mention what see: chrome has tiny minor pitting. Tape path cleaned and aligned as needed.

More cassette decks, some reel to units, a few great vintage stereo receivers, and wonderful Sony table top with dual turntable original speakers. 20x16x8 at 15 lbs. Shipping: this is a heavy piece. I have no explanation for that.

Light scratches here and there, no major dings. Stay tuned for many more functionally restored vintage electronics. Everything works. 50 years old.

In fact, no real minor dings either. Note: that I had difficulty getting my new batteries in it.
