This is a nice unit. I did not test this with batteries.
The only issues seem to be battery cover needs taped on. I have, a very rare nippon radio cassette tv portable. Amazingly, the tv worked with one of those cable things that has 2 wires.
Upon testing the am fm works as well cassette on play Re, and ff. I did not try and record any music.
In color also. Also the antenna seems a bit long. I am not sure if this would be considered a boombox or.
