Radio and tape deck. Did not try to power via batteries. Fairly nice overall condition for a vintage boombox. Due to the age of this unit, sold as is.

I would guess its from dust inside but can't say for sure as the stereo was rather dusty when acquired it. I only tested via the power cord. All the functions worked when tested. You can find a spot in just about any volume range where it works and sounds great.
