Also tried recording with a blank tape. All functions work on the tape section. This being noted because it is a multi system ac voltage supply source. The Dolby section also works.
The shortwave depends on time of day or night. Both tape and radio work very good. The bands are am, FM, sw1, sw2. It is a Panasonic RX-5500F model.
Only light scuff marks here and there. Which means the unit can be operated from world wide ac power supply. I have not seen many if at all these being show up very much for sale. Which means the tape stop button pops up at end of travel in play rewind or forward position.
It is in working condition and will not be do at all. The battery section looks like it was never used at all. Nothing major at all.
It is all intact. It has input jacks on the side for external line in out phono ,external speakers, mic inputs, and back are spring type antenna. All led lights work.
Lots of controls and switches on the front to play with. Please view all 12 photos for condition and ask any questions prior to offer ending. It looks an overseas model. It looks all original, including the telescopic antenna.
Being older electronics it is sold as condition. It has 4 speakers delivering clear sound. Good evening boombox listeners.
The sound is very loud and clear, controls have no scratchy noise. For the age it is a clean unit. The batteries are not included, but I will include ac power cord. They operate nice smooth.
Even when recording they work like the intend. Therefore this will reflect the shipping costs. I have just dug this monster of a boombox in excellent to great condition from my closet. This unit has a full auto stop mechanism at the end of tape travel.
Just plug and play by switching the ac power source from rear switch. Received transmissions on all bands loud and clear. The unit shows very minimum use.
