This has driven the price down in recent years. This model used to be extremely rare with one example known have sold in Au for over about 5 or 6 years ago. The tape deck works fine and there are no issues with this particular boombox besides missing power cord cover, a small scratch on top some dirt under guard that goes over buttons see photos.

Happy buying. It looks almost better suited as a table top set in an estate, rather than portable boombox. The antennas retract all way into top instead of laying flat along edge as frequently seen on other boomboxes.

I assure you that the pictures see are item get and everything works as stated. Vintage 1980 Panasonic RX-7700 boombox, almost identical to the national rs-4360dft name could not be used inside USA. This model takes 10 cells. So while it probably seemed like a good design, in retrospect, might be considered fail.

You would think that this feature alone result in fewer broken antennas, however for whatever reason, the antennas on model is almost always. Pop up microphones covered with what appears to be stainless mesh lends a strikingly attractive feature. As with any electronic I buy go inside and clean everything before using it would recommend doing the same this is always a good idea.

However, it does not have very high power so those users wishing to blast this unit may be somewhat disappointed. This boombox is considered by some to be the holy grail of boomboxes and very scarce it hard find parts hence reason power cord cover missing. The national Panasonic rs-4360dft is virtually identical to RX-7700 boombox. Nevertheless, price still remains fairly high for this model, especially in top condition as it has a very attractive timeless look, and considered rather scarce comparison.

Otherwise, everything about this model feels high quality. Sound is excellent with a nice warm tone. Too many people now are buying things and I hate to say this, making up saying missing etc.

The tuner dial is lighted but lacks an acrylic light carrying panel to even it out. Much of that is due to extensive use metal in its construction from the chassis cassette deck.

It could be that users did not know the antenna base swivel need to pulled completely out before attempting. This is a top tier boombox, and the quality of construction reflects that. It weighs 25 pounds without batteries making this one of the heaviest boomboxes for its size. Now I am going to add reviews of item found online so you can get a better idea what is offered here.

It has a fine detentes volume control that is nice touch as most controls on portables just use friction. Even the tuner uses a metal finned tuning capacitor, feature that is very seldom seen in boomboxes except for most high end designs.
