Recordings to a cassette can be made with the built-in ALC automatic level control or manually separate L and R manual record controls. The cassette section can handle normal and chrome tapes with auto tape selector for a frequency response of 50-14000 Hz chrome it uses an Ultra Hard Permalloy head. Kg Operation: Mains, External 9 V, 6XUM1 battery. The left speaker is not working.

It needs cleaning dusty and some components need repairing. The radio dial knob is not working/ radio works though. It features a 7.2 W 2 x 3.6W IC amplifier that delivers the sound into two 12 cm full range loudspeakers. Two multi function level meters are used for L and R record level, battery control radio tuning.

This item works but has some flaws. The AIWA TPR-920 was introduced in 1977. The recording button doesn work, other cassette buttons do work.
