The biggest problem, is bottom of cabinet melted. It almost snaps closed, but just deformed enough to keep from fitting. The knobs are all here and operate fine. Some of the chrome trim has corrosion and plating wear, looks good.
It sounds like the motor is running, and you can here amplifier with a light hum, but 2 spindles just don't move. The radio receives well on all bands. First the good stuff.
The left side speaker may be blown. Here is an awesome old school Lasonic boombox. It sounds good, has good power from both channels. It is a model TRC-922 am fm Sm cassette recorder.
Both antennas are excellent. Not sure what happened, but its melted enough that the battery door does fit properly. The lights all work fine. The battery door is in good condition, it just has some old tape residue.
This would be a good donor radio for nicer case, or restoration project. It sounds OK, but there is a vibration or reverberation you can here just on the left side. Nothing visible. The cassette player seems to need a belt maybe. Spindles do not turn.
Now for the bad news. This one looks good, but does have some issues.
